Researching ideas for our exhibition design

In week two, as a group we discussed that we would go and do individual research and then get together and see what one another has come up with. Then choose the ideas which we all think are the best, allowing us to take things further from there. Below are some ideas/examples I thought were quite interesting and have some potential for our own exhibition design and display for the prague exhibit.

The following ideas are some design concepts I discovered through various books at my local library:

What attracts me about this concept below is the individual boxes which begin to overlap one another as the sequence continues. In the last side, you end up with this room or shape which consists of these individual boxes to create a whole new arrangement of boxes.

Looking at examples of screens and projections. Some ideas of how these may be presented in our own exhibit.

What I like about this example is the repetitive factor of objects to create a new and bigger meaning to the display/arrangement of objects.

This is the book where is discovered some of the ideas above.

What I really like about this design below, is the use of materiality, colour, form and overall shape of the dome/curve of the structure. I think it looks quite natural and earthy which is an attractive feature and look for an exhibition.

Screens imbedded into walls.
